Please Note: The Patcham u3a French Group will meet for anyone who would like to chat in French over coffee. 10.30-12.00. We would love you to join us. From October 2025 the Venue is Tower House Community cafe, Towergate, BN1 6WT, off London Road.

This is a small friendly group and we aim to help each other. We’re all at different levels of knowledge and enjoy sharing what we know. 

We usually begin by chatting in French for about half of the session, swapping films we’ve seen or places we’ve visited since we last met.

Then we look at something sent out beforehand – a short story, newspaper article, poem, recipe or painting to talk about in French.   Sometimes Franglais is the only way to explain something!
